How it works

The same structured approach, applied to writing

Writing depends on the same foundations as reading: hearing the sounds in words, spelling them reliably and knowing how words are built. We start with a short assessment of where the gaps are, then teach each skill explicitly and build on it every lesson.

Students who struggle with reading as well as writing usually do best in our full reading program, which weaves writing, grammar, spelling and comprehension into every lesson.
