What parents notice

Reading that makes sense

Many autistic students do well with clear, logical rules for how things work, and English spelling can seem anything but. Our lessons show the patterns underneath, so reading feels orderly instead of arbitrary.

  • Strong word reading but weaker comprehension
  • Difficulty with open-ended writing
  • Discomfort when tasks are unpredictable
  • Frustration when spelling seems random

We teach reading

We teach reading to autistic students. We adapt pace, material and communication to your child, and we work alongside their other supports.

How lessons work

Predictable by design

Every lesson follows the same structure, so your child always knows what comes next.

Same structure every lesson

Sounds, words, reading and writing, in the same order every time.

The same tutor every week

One familiar person who gets to know your child.

Learning from home

Online lessons in a familiar, comfortable space.

Parents in the room

You can sit in on every lesson, and see every session in the portal.

The speech to print sequence: hear the sounds, say them, write them, then see the word

Why it works

Sounds first, no rules to memorize

Our approach is called speech to print. We start with the sounds your child already speaks and show how each one is written, then build reading, spelling and writing together. There are no spelling or syllable rules to memorize, which matters for students who find it hard to hold many steps in mind at once.
